Biography
Mosha recently graduated from UCLA with a B.A. degree in Jewish Studies. In addition to the humanities courses required for his major, Mosha took and excelled in the rigorous science and public health courses required for medical school admission. This strong educational background in both the sciences and the humanities has allowed Mosha to successfully tutor in a broad variety of subjects. Mosha also has a plethora of experiences working with children, from interning at Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) in Israel and volunteering in the pediatrics department at UCLA hospital in Los Angeles. Mosha also tutored and mentored low-income high-risk youth through the UCLA TEACH program and tutoring privately for a number of years. Most recently, Mosha loves tutoring AP Biology in Los Angeles
Mosha was born in Moscow but raised here in Los Angeles. In the little free time that he has, Mosha enjoys watching and playing sports (especially basketball and football), reading historical fiction novels, going to the beach with his two younger brothers (17 and 8), and watching classic movies. Mosha’s career aspirations include becoming a pediatrician and a youth basketball coach at the Boys and Girls Club.
