Biography
Geoff is a versatile teacher and tutor with extensive experience in both one-on-one and classroom settings. He holds a Master’s of Fine Arts in Film from Columbia University and BA in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a National Merit Scholar. He recently relocated to Los Angeles from New York, where he worked as a private tutor with some of NYC’s top prep schools, focusing on mathematics, science, and test preparation. An accomplished filmmaker, he has also taught undergraduate film classes at both Columbia University and Sarah Lawrence College.
Geoff grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and is glad to be back in California. He has tutored many students throughout Los Angeles, and has written SAT curriculum. Geoff helps students master test-prep from Santa Monica to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia, and loves discovering good food and good stories.
